A Season of Holy Days
The holiday season is here, and Americans

are frantically shopping, dropping, and wrapping. Society says ’tis the season to be jolly; I say ’tis the season to be conscious. You can buy into holiday hype of buying and partying, or you can tune into the higher vibrations that these holy days are truly about.
Chanukah is the festival of lights; Kwaanza is a remembrance of God’s harvest; and Christmas commemorates the Messiah’s birth. My holiday coaching for Jews: See the light of the menorah as your inner light that never goes out. For African-Americans: see life itself as a gift from God For Christians: Remember, Jesus as the embodiment of the Christ Consciousness that’s waiting to be reborn in you. And the next time you pass Santa Claus on the street, see him as Prosperity personified, a colorful symbol of God’s infinite generosity.

To celebrate January, the beginning of a whole new year, I’m offering complimentary half-hour coaching sessions for the first two people who contact me by phone (954-788-3380), or byemail. It’s my way of giving thanks for the great life that I’m blessed to live. There are only four restrictions, but please read them carefully:
- You haven’t already received a free coaching session from me.
- You’re not currently involved in a series of coaching sessions with me.
- You book the session within three days of winning, so if you call or email, check my response and respond in time. If you forget to do this, your place will be taken by the next person on the waiting list.
- You take the session before January 15.

Quotes of the Month
Discipline
“Not by the weak, not by the unearnest,
Not by those who practice wrong disciplines
Can the Self be realized. The Self reveals
Himself as the Lord of Love to the one
Who practices right disciplines.”

“Sow a thought and you reap an act; Sow an act and you reap a habit; Sow a habit and you reap a character; Sow a character and you reap a destiny.”–Samuel Smiles
Signs of an Age of Enlightenment?
Oprah Winfrey, perhaps the most influential woman in America, has begun Transcendental Meditation, learning in Fairfield, Iowa, home of Maharishi University of Management. At first she was joined by seven of her staff, then 70, then her entire company. They all meditate together as a group every morning, and the Chicago-based media mogul said that there’s more discernible harmony in the company.
She plans to do a whole show on TM on her network. She tells about her experience in a three-minute-plus segment where she’s interviewed by meditator Dr. Mehmet Oz on his program. You can view it here.
Breakthroughs
Meditation instruction has been taking place in a supermarket in Asheville, NC.
The Cosmic and the Comic
“God likes to watch. He’s a prankster.” –The Devil in The Devil’s Advocate

Santa Claus: Archetype of Prosperity
December 25th is the day millions of Christians celebrate the birth of their messianic Redeemer. It’s also the day millions of secular Christians celebrate the generosity of their mythic Rewarder. He’s the bearded jolly chap known as St. Nicholas or Santa Claus (Sint Klaas as the Dutch settlers called him in Holland). I like to think of him as the quintessential archetype for prosperity. In a tough stock market where you may be losing sleep over your dwindling net worth, an abundant elf like Santa is vital to our national health.
Known as the patron saint of giving, Santa might more aptly be known as the patron saint of rapid transit. He’s a veritable master of bilocation. In December, you’ll spot him at the Town Center in Boca at the same moment your friends spot him at CityPlace in West Palm, while others insist he’s also at the Breakers in Palm Beach. Bilocation, shmilocation… Superman may be fast, but Santa is downright omnipresent.
When I was a small boy, my Uncle Dave was vital to my boyish health. A personification of prosperity, he’d give me the silver dollars he pulled out of my ears with his magic. But while Dave had his limits, Santa has none. His huge sack full of wrapped goodies is a veritable storehouse of God’s infinite generosity.
God’s generosity also spilled over into the miracles that Christ was said to have done. He was said to feed hundreds of adults and kids with a couple of fish and a few loaves of bread. Santa Claus serves hundreds of kids from just one sack. Christ, we’re told, walked on water; Santa sleds his way over the rooftops of the world. Christ was credited with helping wedding partyers by turning water into wine; Santa elicits laughter from whiners. Christ said that you must be as innocent as a child to enter the Kingdom of Heaven; Santa shares treats from the kingdom with the innocent ones.
Perhaps St. Nick’s miraculous feats of “sharing-do” are powered by the ever-present mantra he chants– “Ho-ho-ho.” Is this an ancient mantra from China or an esoteric meditation from the North Pole? That ringing bell of his sounds more at home in Tibet than at his snowy digs.
While the birth of Jesus inspires love and hope, the girth of St. Nicholas inspires abundance. A bumper sticker I’ve seen reads, “Keep Christ in Christmas.” In December’s endless flashing neon, shopping lines, and out-of-control credit cards, this impassioned plea for reducing commercialism and awakening spirituality is sage advice. But before we forego the wrappings and trappings of a saint like Nick, let’s not forget his role as our national symbol of prosperity. Christ and Santa can co-exist. After all, our political leaders forever spout what they both embody: peace and prosperity. Perhaps we just need to re-think our other holiday symbols like Frosty the Snowman. What the heck is he doing on our lawns next to Christ and Saint Nick?
As I once told students in a prosperity class I gave near the nation’s capital in Alexandria, “Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus.”
Testimonial on Coaching
“Cary’s feedback and stimulating questions bring out the hidden dreams I have been willing to hide from myself. Coaching puts them out in the light and makes them come alive. I have the energy to make them real and he helps create the map to do that.”

Want to Write a Book? New Publishing Venture Set Up for You to Fulfill that Dream
How would you like to have your own book published and available on Amazon? That dream can now become a reality, with the help of on-demand publishing technology, and the writing, editing, graphic design, and marketing and public relations team that I’ve put in place for that very purpose.
Here’s the team that’s set up for you:
- A graphic designer who has worked for Disney World, Harley Davidson, and Touchstone Pictures, among other credits. She’s also a complete joy to work with, as I can attest–she was the designer on my most recent book, 40 Days to a Happy Life.
- A writer/editor who’s been a columnist for The Motley Fool, the editor-in-chief for Mortgageloan.com, Completegrowth.com, and Creditland.com, who has edited five books and was the ghost writer or contributor on three. She also wrote for such Fortune 500 companies as Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Charles Schwab, Prudential, and the Hartford, among others.
- Also on the team as a writer is yours truly. I’ve written five full-length books and more than three dozen mini-books.
- The venture’s book publicist has helped authors make the best-seller lists of the New York Times and theWall Street Journal, and has had her clients featured on Oprah, The Today Show, Good Morning, America,Time, Newsweek, Business Week, Forbes, NPR,Redbook, and Ladies’ Home Journal, among others. She’s worked for such authors as Jack Canfield and Jacqueline Miller, Heart at Work (McGraw-Hill); Terri Orbuch, 5 Simple Steps to Take Your Marriage from Good to Great (Random House); Sophy Burnham, The Path of Prayer: Reflections on Prayer and True Stories of How It Affects Our Lives (Viking Penguin); and Charles Garfield, Susun Weed, Gerald Celente, and Drs. Susan Lark, Ro Brock, and Stephen Sinatra, among others, and for authors who’ve been published by virtually every major publishing house in America.
If you’d like to talk about how you can have a dream come true and have your own book or mini-book in print, and would either like to write it or have someone ghost write it for you, don’t hesitate to call at (954) 788-3380, or email me. We’re here to make that dream of yours come true.
Higher Self Healing Meditation
I’m proud to announce the development of a new meditation training that’s been marinating in the quietest levels of consciousness deep within my soul for a number of years.
Its name is Higher Self Healing Meditation, and it’s as effortless as Transcendental Meditation (TM) that Maharishi Mahesh Yogi trained me to teach when I was 20 years old.
Some years back, the movement that teaches the late Maharishi’s system of TM significantly changed the requirements for those who had been teaching to continue to do so. As a result, thousands of teachers, including myself, no longer instruct that method. But understanding the mechanics of how the mind transcends in meditation after teaching meditation to so many hundreds of people from southern California and Western Europe to the Caribbean and many points in between–as well as training dozens of teachers of Transcendental Meditation–I’ve developed a system of meditation that’s as effective as TM, as easy as TM, and available at one third the price that it costs to learn TM. HSHM can be learned in about five hours over the course of three straight days.
Have you thought about incorporating a daily stress-management system to:
- release deep-rooted tension,
- increase energy,
- stimulate creativity,
- enliven happiness, and
- enable you to contact the inexhaustible reservoir of creativity and intelligence deep within you at the transcendental level of Being?
If so, let me know, and I can explain how easy it is to learn. You can reach me by email or by phone at (954) 788-3380.
Blog Cabin
The blogosphere has been active for many for quite some time, so I know I’m joining the party after it’s gotten well underway. In truth, I began blogging last summer for a very short time, and then put it on hold. But now that I’m working with SEO guru Doug Motel (to whom I gave a big rave review in my last newsletter), I have my site set up properly, and I’ve begun to write regularly.
If you would like to have my blog entries emailed to you, there’s a place on my website where you can enter your email address.

faster means of transport than the Interstate highways I find myself on each month, the World Wide Web is, like rock ‘n’ roll, here to stay, and presumably, also will never die. That being the case, I’ve recently created two pages on Facebook that can help you create breakthroughs in a variety of ways. The pages are called:
Cary Bayer Breakthrough Coaching
Why not bookmark the address?
And
Business Coaching for Massage TherapistsWhy not bookmark the address?
Why the latter? Because, these handy (pun intended) healers comprise the largest percentage of my coaching client population. So check your Facebook walls and let me know what you think about my posts.
By the way, if you’re not yet a fan of either page, you can join up easily at either of the addresses above.
Referral Fees
When I ran my own marketing/PR firm, I loved thanking anyone who referred a new client to me by sending a check for 10 percent of the fees generated. I have a similar policy as a life coach. If you inspire someone to become my client, you’ll receive 10 percent of the fee that that person begins coaching with me at. That could easily mean a check for you of $105 or $65. It’s my way of saying, “thanks.” My thought is simple–who couldn’t use a piece of unexpected income?
