CARY BAYER’S WORKSHOPS: IN-PERSON AND TELECLASSES

CATEGORIES

1. Prosperity

A. “The Secret of Money: How to use the Law of Attraction for Financial Health & Wealth”

This workshop teaches you how to take advantage of the Law of Attraction to prosper. What aerobics does for your body, Prosperity Aerobics does for your mind. It liberates you from money worries, overcomes family money patterns, transforms the Money Rejection Complex, and reconnects you to the Universe’s abundance. “Breakthrough Coach” Cary Bayer draws from his popular Prosperity Aerobics book to offer a 20-minute daily inner workout to overcome dysfunctional thinking and behavior that creates dramatic breakthroughs in your earning, saving, spending and investing. Moreover, he presents this class joyfully, with wit and humor, enabling you to transform the charged topic of money in a spirit of fun and play.

B. “Spirit and Money: Prospering by Doing what You Love”

This class helps the millions of spiritual seekers to heal the erroneous separation that so often exists in their minds between Spirit and money. Most importantly, Spirit & Money author Cary Bayer teaches how to use your God-given talents to attract revenue streams by doing the work that you love–your dharma (the work that you’re here to do). This can, in time, turn a tolerable livelihood into a passionate lovelihood. It also shows you how to make a larger cut of the millionaire pie available to you in our abundant universe, and gain 200 percent of Life’s spiritual and material riches. It also teaches you a prayer that you can use on a daily basis to help create unexpected income.

Finally, it helps empower those who are already doing what they love to market their services more effectively by learning the art of spiritual marketing, and come to see that selling itself, when it’s done from the heart, can be graceful and as innocent as child’s play.

C. “How to Discover and use your Money Mantra”

At many of the 20,000 meals you ate growing up in your parents’ home, you imbibed their beliefs about money-many of them quite disempowering. Taken together, the most negative thoughts from your mother and the most negative from your father create your own Family Money Lie about money.

Your Money Mantra, on the other hand, is the empowering message that turns this lie on its head and enables you to transform your family’s limiting message and begin creating the financial abundance you were born to enjoy.

In class, Prosperity Aerobics author and Money Mantra Meditation founder Cary Bayer will help you develop your own personal Money Mantra. Moreover, he’ll show you how to use this powerful message at home on a daily basis to more quickly attract such prosperity into your life.

2. Purpose and Personal Power

A.

“How to Find and Live Your Purpose”

In this workshop, How to Find & Live your Purpose author Cary Bayer helps you gain a clear sense of the reason you are here and the important role you have to play in life. It will teach you of your two-fold purpose: your spiritual (or inner) work, as well as your material (or outer) work.

It will also help you discover a service that you can provide for others that grows organically out of your heart and soul. This activity is deeply enjoyable for you, and brings your God-given talents into the world. This work can also bring a revenue stream into your life (perhaps part-time for now) that can augment your current income stream and perhaps, in time, become a mighty river to replace it.

B. “How to Overcome Procrastination NOW”

In this valuable class, How to Overcome Procrastination NOW author Cary Bayer offers procrastinators tools to immediately overcome habits of delaying actions that cause untold suffering, loss of money, and lack of success. It includes interactive one-on-one processes that help procrastinators isolate the causes of their behavior. The class provides mental, emotional, and behavioral techniques that empower a dynamic life filled with achievement and peace. Methods include a behavior modification process based on an enticing weekly reward, appealing to the inner child, that offers win/win scenarios for procrastinators and everyone else whose lives they touch. Most of all, this fun procrastination game dramatically transforms how one feels about the activities that one procrastinates—morphing what had been stress and anxiety into pure pleasure.

C. “Affirmation Meditation: The Enlightened Way to Change your Mind for Good”

Affirmations can be read, spoken, or listened to–all for useful effect. This workshop will teach Affirmation Meditation, a 15-minute written practice that’s probably the most holistic way to use affirmation. The reason for this is simple: its three-step approach to each repetition includes the release of a negative thought that prevents the affirmation from manifesting. It also provides a new affirmation to transform that limited thought and shed light on the darkened part of the mind that could have held such a small belief in the first place. The workshop will teach students how to master each of the practice’s vital three steps.

Participants will also learn valuable affirmations for five areas of their lives: money, career, relationships, communication, and their inner spiritual journey.

D. “How to Stay Inspired during Economic Downturns: Learning the Motivation Aerobics”

When most everyone around you in a slowed-down economy is either scared or depressed, it’s more challenging –and more important–than ever to stay inspired. But often that can be easier said than done. Unless, of course, you have an inner program to practice that keeps you motivated and focused. That’s exactly what you’ll learn in this valuable workshop to clarify your goals, keep you on track to realize those goals, and to not only not be dragged down by others, but to awaken your inner lighthouse to inspire not just yourself but everyone around you.

3. Relationships and Communication

A. “The Secret of Successful Relationships: How to Use the Law of Attraction to Draw More Love into Your Life”

In a relaxed and enjoyable way, this interactive workshop, by Relationships 101 author Cary Bayer, teaches people how to take advantage of the Law of Attraction in their relationships. By falling deeper in love with themselves, they can magnetize others and create ideal loving relationships. The class also provides an immensely valuable inner workout for enriching all relationships. Couples learn how to deeply appreciate each other on a daily basis, rooting out the major cause of marital strife and divorce. Singles use these exercises to enhance self-esteem and communications skills.
Students are enlightened on boundaries, and taught how to defend against those who’d abuse them.

B. “Looking for Love in all the Right Places: How to Attract a Mate”

This workshop teaches singles how to fall in love with themselves, the basis for attracting a mate. In a fun way, Relationships 101 author Cary Bayer shows how to transform negative relationship patterns, and how to become magnetic to others, while learning the six steps for securing more good dates and a lively dating life.

C. “How to be at Peace with Anyone”

Rare is the person who doesn’t have unresolved issues with an ex-spouse, parent, boss, current spouse, deceased parent or ex-boss, for example. People also spend thousands of dollars in therapy trying to resolve these conflicts.

Have you ever noticed that people who resemble the person or people who you’re incomplete with have an uncanny knack for showing up in your life in different guises? That’s no accident. This workshop will provide the theoretical framework to understand the role these people play in your life.

This highly practical workshop also comes equipped with a systematic, three-step Completion Process that frees you of the toxic energy and heavy weight that you’ve been carrying around for all these years.

In this class, you’ll make tremendous progress toward finishing the first two of these three steps that are vital for your physical, emotional, and financial health, and will enable you to become at peace with anyone you’ve ever known.

D. “Conscious Communication”

This class teaches vital techniques to speak and listen effectively. In a relaxed and even playful manner, Conscious Communication author Cary Bayer shows how to safely tell the truth quickly and kindly, and stop withholding communications that you really need to make. It offers regular exercises that enable you to get closer to the important people in your personal life, as well as to colleagues at work.

E. “Heart Warming to Heal Global Warming: Love thy Planet as Thyself”

Many climate scientists believe that global warming is beginning to melt the polar ice caps, and can eventually bring unprecedented flooding and disaster. It’s shocking that mankind has so abused the planet, considering that every major spiritual, religious, and humanist tradition urges us to be stewards of the Earth. Christ reminded us to “Love thy neighbor as thyself.” In light of this, we might ask what would he say about this environmental crisis? Perhaps the answer is a simple, but profound, new commandment: “Love thy planet as thyself.”

Since authentic stewardship of any project begins with loving ourselves first, this workshop begins with heart warming and then moves on to healing global warming. Led by Cary Bayer, author of Relationships 101, you’ll learn easy-to-practice techniques that more deeply open and warm the heart. Purifying the heart, they enable you to love yourself in a much more profound way—and then love others, including the planet (which is also alive). Finally, the class teaches the eminently practical “Zen-vironmental” Action, a variety of things that you can do daily to heal yourself and the planet on which you live.

F. “The Peace & Freedom Beyond Complaining”

Complaining is a contagious habit that pervades our culture and causes increasing unhappiness in anyone who does it. Yet, most people are so enmeshed in its hold, that the very thought of getting out of it seems laughable, if not impossible.

That is, until this interactive class by Relationships 101 and Conscious Communication author Cary Bayer came into your life. In just a couple of hours, you’ll learn a pair of specific techniques that can free you from its insidious grip once and for all, and find the natural peace and freedom that awaits you when you do.

4. The Meditation & Enlightenment Series

A. “Follow your Yellow Brick Road: Awakening Courage, Compassion & Wisdom for the Journey Home”

In this highly interactive workshop, Follow your Yellow Brick Road and Zen Teachings of Oz author Cary Bayer helps you gain momentum on your inner journey to Enlightenment. Moreover, it offers a “Yellow Brick Road”-a series of daily inner exercises inspired by The Wizard of Oz-that returns you to your true “home,” your Higher Self, or inner Spirit within.

The workshop awakens valuable qualities for your inner journey: courage, desperately sought by the Cowardly Lion; compassion, which the Tin Man sought; wisdom, the Scarecrow’s longing; and the innocence embodied by Dorothy that overcomes negative influences and attracts great support from the Universe.

The workshop helps you realize that no wizard or guru has all the answers to your quest; but with the facilitation of a Good Witch (Therapist, Guru or Coach), you can find those answers as you find your way home to peace. These essential qualities are awakened through interactive processes that include one-on-one verbal dyads and journaling. You’ll gain a much clearer understanding of where you are on your journey, and what areas you need to work on to speed up your progress. In a delightful and fun way, this workshop provides tools to help make the dreams that you dare to dream come true.

B. “Zen Teachings of Oz”

In this enlightening class, Zen Teachings of Oz author Cary Bayer reveals that The Wizard of Oz, one of the most beloved films ever, abounds with spiritual truths. Once you understand that Dorothy’s adventure Over the Rainbow is a metaphor for her inner journey, you’ll discover where you are on your path. You’ll also learn a breathing method to provide a taste of the place within where troubles melt like lemon drops.

The class showcases a key principle of healing discovered by Depth Psychologist C. G. Jung: namely, that what you resist persists. Dorothy resists Miss Gulch, who wants to kill Toto, and seeks to escape her by leaving Kansas. Over the Rainbow that witch-like Midwesterner becomes an even-more wicked Witch of the West, and now she wants to kill Dorothy herself. (The movie shows this vivid transformation during the twister that sent Dorothy’s house flying through space.) Through journaling, you’ll locate the Miss Gulches in your life who you’ve chosen to resist, only to find them reappearing as someone else who you also couldn’t get along with. Through an enlightened Completion Process, you’ll be shown how to make peace with this Shadow figure.

The class shows how to connect to your higher Self and release the kind of doubts that made the Scarecrow, Tin Man and Lion think they needed to find something they already had. You’ll discover, like Dorothy did, not to pay attention to the man behind the curtain. In other words, you’ll be shown how to take back the projections you’ve placed on teachers and others whom you’ve put on pedestals and to whom you’ve given away your power.

Last but not least, each participant will be shown that, like Dorothy, you, too, are supported by the higher powers of the Universe, whether they’re named Glinda, angels, or Spirit. Most of all, you’ll be able to gain access to that by symbolically clicking your heels together three times and awakening your own intuition.

C. “Whitman, The Transcendental Self, & Meditation”

Awakened to the Transcendent Self within and inspired by the writings of the Transcendentalists, Walt Whitman had powerful glimpses of the One Spirit that pervades the universe. This awareness, coupled with his love of “comrades,” enabled his poetry to be, as one critic dubbed it, “a remarkable mixture of the Bhagavad Gita and the New York Herald.” His poetic chants of direct expressions of the Transcendental Self can awaken it in you because he and you share that level of Being.

Cary Bayer, who wrote his Masters thesis on Whitman at Maharishi International University, is the author of Walt Whitman: Poet of Enlightenment. He taught Transcendental Meditation for more than three decades before developing Higher Self Healing Meditation in 2010. In this enlightening class, he recites verse from the poet’s Leaves of Grass to stir your deepest Self, then describes a meditation technique that you can practice daily at home. This can enable you to contact that Self regularly, and incorporate the great peace and freedom it provides, as you grow toward the higher states of consciousness that Whitman sang so eloquently of.

D. “Zen Teachings of Cats & Dogs”

Americans have taken 171 million cats and dogs that into their 115 million homes to raise, and spend some $50 billion a year on them. These little buddhas, who demonstrate many of the qualities that the world’s great teachers have taught about the nature of Enlightenment, have, in turn, taken us under their wings…um, make that paws.

In this class, Zen Teachings of Cats & Dogs and Zen Teachings of Animals author Cary Bayer provides tools that we can practice daily–call it Pet Yoga–to master five important qualities of Enlightenment they show us. Pet Yoga helps transform our consciousness from low levels of fear where our tail is between our legs to the place where it’s wagging all the time, the state of consciousness called Feline Groovy.

E. “The Bhagavad Gita and the Secret to the Meaning of Life”

The first–and greatest–yoga class ever is recorded in the sacred Bhagavad Gita, an ancient Sanskrit poem. It tells of an honorable leader who must choose between saving his family or his country. Involving far more than the postures and breathing exercises of a usual yoga class, the story shows the Way to a direct experience of Reality. At the same time, it reveals the elusive secrets of karma, dharma, meditation, and service.

With compassion, humor, anecdote and interactive processes, Cary Bayer, a meditation teacher since the ’70s and author of Higher Self Meditation and Meditations for Enlightenment, connects some of these sacred insights from the Gita to the contemporary challenges of finding your career path; performing successful action supported by the Universe; and finding your higher Self.

F. “The Gospels & the Gita:
Transformation through the Teachings of Christ & Krishna”

Christ and Krishna were two of the greatest spiritual teachers the world has ever known. Perceived by millions as avatars—literally, incarnations of God who came to save the world—their wisdom has been preserved for the ages in the Gospels and the Bhagavad Gita, respectively.

The deepest interpretation of the work of Christ and Krishna is that they came to literally transform each of us from the inside out so that we could enjoy the Kingdom of Heaven–in the case of Jesus–and the Unity of God Consciousness–in the case of the founder of Yoga.

In this class, Cary Bayer, the former Transcendental Meditation teacher and trainer of teachers, who founded Higher Self Healing Meditation in 2010, illuminates parallels in the teachings of these two great masters. Moreover, the author of Transcendental Meditations, Meditations on Enlightenment, and Higher Self Meditation, provides specific techniques that can be incorporated into daily life to speed up your evolution to the higher states of spiritual development that these avatars lived, and intended for us to awaken in ourselves.

G. “From Ritual to Spiritual: Embodying the Teachings of Christ”

As with many other traditions, hundreds of millions of Christians around the world attend church on Sunday mornings and move through the rituals associated with their faith. They are reminded of the remarkable stories and teachings of Jesus, share prayer, and do their best with the resources that they have to incorporate these principles into their lives. Sadly, the critical impetus that arises during the Sunday service, in most cases, is lost within hours.

This class provides practical methods culled from 40 years of ecumenical readings, personal study, and especially direct spiritual experience, to assist churchgoers to transform that part of their lives that might be termed “ritual” Christianity into spiritual Christianity. In other words, to embody the teachings of Christ to a much greater extent. This helps them elevate their sense of religion from belief and faith to incorporate deeper inner experience.

Jesus didn’t come to create a religion as much as to offer transformation for those who heard his teachings. The class considers ways to awaken the innocence that Jesus praised as necessary for entry into the Kingdom of Heaven. It also teaches a cleansing process that purifies the heart and develops a deep capability of forgiveness of others in circumstances of conflict. It also shows a way to daily renew the mind, to lift the level of speech, and to be more receptive for the transcendent experience of being re-born in the midst of the tumult of a busy life.

H. “The 4 Fields of Life”

“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field. I’ll meet you there.”-Rumi

To be successful both in the world and in the spiritual life, it’s essential to integrate the four fields of Life: that of action, speech, thought, and the Transcendental field of Being. Transcendental Meditations, Higher Self Meditation, and Meditations for Enlightenment author Cary Bayer will show you how to awaken the Transcendent, transform the way you think, become more conscious of how you speak, and empower your actions so that they can create ongoing achievements and fulfillment. Cary has long practiced what he teaches: he’s a former teacher of Transcendental Meditation, who’s taught many hundreds of people from southern California to western Europe and a trainer of its teachers. In 2010, he founded Higher Self Healing Meditation.

I.“The Seven States of Consciousness”

(Taught only in areas where Cary will be for 3 or more days)

The average person is familiar with three states of consciousness-the changing states of waking, dreaming and sleeping. The Vedantic wisdom of India details four others, including the non-changing Transcendental Consciousness that serves as the basis of three more advanced levels of awareness.

This class is led by Transcendental Meditations, Higher Self Meditation, and Meditations on Enlightenment author Cary Bayer. A former Transcendental Meditation teacher and founder of Higher Self Healing Meditation, he gives a glimpse into the peace of the fourth state of Being. He also clearly outlines the various levels of Enlightenment, including the non-changing nature of unbounded awareness and the ever-refining ability of perception.

J. “How to Become Enlightened”

(This class is only taught within a 1-hour drive of Cary’s Florida and New York homes or when he’s in an area for 3 days.)

This workshop provides tools for students to gain a multi-level view of Enlightenment that includes action, speech, the mind, the heart, and the Self. While gaining a liberating understanding of the universal Law of Karma, students will learn empowering ways to interpret the daily results that they have in their lives based on the Law of Attraction. They’ll also learn how to harness the creative power of every word that their mouth utters, and every thought that their mind thinks. The class will also shed light on the healing opportunity that the “Significant Other” relationship affords. Lastly, students learn how to gain Yoga’s samadhi, contact with the timeless Higher Self in the Transcendent Field of Being, which glimpses the liberation of this momentary Enlightenment.

5. Creativity

A. “Awaken your Creative Genius”

Scriptures from around the world tell you that you are made in the image of the Creator of the Universe. Yet, so many creative people stay blocked and stuck. Awaken your Creative Genius author Cary Bayer, a Life and Creativity coach who’s helped hundreds of people unfold their creativity, will show you how to tap into that infinite reservoir of creativity within you. This can help you manifest more creativity in your daily life-whether that means more inspiration for creative projects; more innovative ways of doing things in your profession; more ways of beautifying your home and surroundings; and newer ways of behaving in your relationships, among other things.

He’ll give you the keys to open the door to abundant creativity; the dynamite to blast through creative block; ways to connect to your muse through Spontaneous Writing and Discovery Writing; relax your mind and body to fire up your creativity; and date your inner artist. These techniques have been used successfully by thousands of people, and can help you become wildly creative in your ventures, as well as in your personal life.

B. “Walt Whitman’s Enlightenment & The Awakening of Your Inner Artist”

Awakened to the Transcendent, Walt Whitman, the self-described “kosmos,” had powerful glimpses of the One Spirit that pervades the universe. His direct expressions of higher states of consciousness awaken powerful levels of your Being. Reading poetry of this kind-even for two minutes a day-can stir your soul.

His free verse, a radical breakthrough at the time, influenced modern poetry; he was no doubt the spiritual father of the great Beat Poetry movement. More importantly, he can influence your ability to create–whether it’s to write poetry, novels or screenplays; sing or play an instrument; paint; draw; design; decorate; cook; garden; or what have you.

This class will use his enlightened poems to free your inner artist. We’ll use a variety of writing exercises and creativity drills to establish connection with your own Muse. Lastly, by the time you leave the class, you will have written a poem about a bigger life waiting to lived by you.

6. Inner Child, Joy and Laughter

A. “40 Days to a Happy Life”

Happiness…it’s what motivates virtually everything we do. And yet, most people are chronically unhappy, despite the fact that we live in the most affluent nation on earth. The majority of people are left only with the Declaration of Independence freedom: namely, the pursuit of happiness. This class is concerned with the fulfillment of that pursuit.

40 Days to a Happy Life author Cary Bayer helps awaken happiness for each class participant in three stages: 1) he first shows how to discover what makes one happy; 2) then he shows how to incorporate more of what makes one happy into one’s life; 3) finally, he teaches the student how to derive more happiness from everything he does in life.

If you already live an abundantly happy life, this class isn’t necessary. But very few people do, it’s absolutely critical.

B. “Awaken your Inner Child”

Christ said that you can’t gain entry into the Kingdom of Heaven unless you become like a child again. How are you to pull off that neat trick unless you go back into your mother’s womb? The answer, of course, rests in awakening the inner child within you.

This class—more of a playshop than a workshop–promises to be one of the most healing and enjoyable couple of hours you’ll ever enjoy. That’s because the connection–or re-connection–with your inner child that it helps to facilitate, offers help in its healing, and enables you to have more ongoing fun with this inner child in your daily life.

The playful inner child of facilitator Cary Bayer offers you fun activities like drawing in a coloring book, jumping rope, flipping baseball cards, snacking on milk and cookies, and relaxing with nap time.

By the time you leave, you will embody the innocence of which Christ spoke.

C. “An Evening of Stand-Up Metaphysics: Laughter as a way to Liberation” With the Wise Guy Swami

This delightful “playshop” is brought to you by workshop leader/stand-up comic Cary Bayer and the Wise Guy Swami, the 4,000-year-old “Disembodiment of Heaven and Mirth” and the author of The Lost Teachings of the Oy Veda. The Wise Guy, who speaks in an Indian accent, is “channeled” (wink, wink) by Cary.

This highly delightful class mixes workshop and entertainment to bring your awareness to a higher, more playful level than the serious one that created your problems in life. Your sense of humor is an innate gift from God that helps you gain a broader perspective and enables you to tackle your challenges with a lighter heart. It also enables you to see and live the great truth expressed by comic genius Charlie Chaplin: “Life is a tragedy seen in close-up, but a comedy in long shot.” The playshop fulfills the ancient Chinese proverb about fish: it brings you laughs to lighten you for a day and teaches you how to laugh, to lighten you for a lifetime. You will learn a variety of techniques that Cary has learned from more than 25 years as both a teacher of personal growth and professional comedian and comedy writer.

7. Myth and Literature

A. “Rumi & Whitman: East & West Meet in the Field of Mystic Unity”

Jalaluddin Rumi (13th century Sufi) and Walt Whitman (19th century American), each in his own way, expanded his consciousness from the individuality of a local poet to touch the universality that beats at the mystical center of every human life. In varying degrees, both drank of the joys of the “cosmic life” and delighted in describing them, tasted the immanence of God, and felt a boundless love for their fellow human beings. Both wrote to inspire their comrades to wake up from a “long sleep.”
In this poetic recital, East and West meet in a special ‘field,’ one that Rumi described: “Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,/there is a field./When the soul lies down in that grass,/the world is too full to talk about…”
In Leaves of Grass, particularly his epic, “Song of Myself,” Whitman expresses what it’s like to lie down in that grass.

Peter Rogen has presented Rumi’s poetry at Yale University and New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art; Cary Bayer wrote his Masters’ thesis on Whitman and is the author of Walt Whitman: Poet of Enlightenment. Peter and Cary will let the poems do most of the talking, while welcoming discussion from the audiences as we all hopefully awaken to the Presence that inspired the two poets and that beats inside every heart.

B. “Awaken your Inner Superhero”

Superheroes aren’t just comic book fantasies for kids, says Zen Teachings of the Superheroes author Cary Bayer; they’re mythic archetypes who embody your own sleeping inner potential. Their dual identities will remind you of your own dual nature: your small self–or social role that you play–and your higher Self, which is a spark of the divine. The workshop helps you locate the Fortress of Solitude and Batcave deep within you. It also enables you to regularly connect to your secret identity with a daily Superhero Meditation that you will learn in class. You may not leave the workshop with the ability to leap tall buildings in a single bound, but you will change the course of the mighty river of your life.

C. “Christ, Superman and You”

There are less than six degrees of separation between Superman Christ, and you, because you’re made in the image of God. The Psalms said that ”Ye shall be as gods;” and Jesus said, “He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do.” Superman, in the comic books, said, “It’s not too far-fetched to predict that some day, our very own planet may be peopled by Supermen!”

In this fun workshop, Zen Teachings of the Superheroes author Cary Bayer enables you to recognize that the social role you play—whether as a mild-mannered reporter from a great metropolitan newspaper, a carpenter, or whatever your occupation happens to be—represents the outer, visible part of your being. There’s an inner, invisible part of who you are that’s your higher, spiritual nature. This workshop teaches a meditation and visualization to help you shift your awareness daily from your outer to your inner nature.

You’re here to do great things, and this workshop, which helps you be in the world but not of it, will help you accomplish just that.

D. “Moses, Superman and You” (For synagogues)

There are less than six degrees of separation between Moses, Superman, and you because you’re made in the image of God. The Psalms said that ”Ye shall be as gods.” Superman, created by a pair of Jewish teens near Cleveland during World War II, has been seen as a golem in tights. In the comic books, he said, “It’s not too far-fetched to predict that some day, our very own planet may be peopled by Supermen!” The Hebrew translation of the name Kal-El (Superman’s name on Krypton) is “All that is God.”

Moses and Superman both performed miracles; both were committed to liberating people from injustice; both were disconnected from their parents in infancy; and both embodied the highest of ethical teachings.

In this delightful workshop, Zen Teachings of Superheroes and Archetypes of the Comic Book Unconscious author Cary Bayer enables you to recognize that the social role you play—whether as a mild-mannered reporter from a great metropolitan newspaper, a shepherd, or whatever your occupation happens to be—represents the outer, visible part of your being. There’s an inner, invisible part of who you are that’s your higher, spiritual nature. This workshop teaches a meditation and visualization to help you shift your awareness daily from your outer to your inner nature. You’re here to do great things, and this workshop will help you discover the heroic work that you can do to create Tikkun olam and make the world whole.

8. Seasonal

January

A. “How to make your New Year’s Resolutions come True”

The first few days of January each year are the national days for bowls and goals, when some football team will become the number one gridiron program in college. January 1 is also the big day for fantasy, because without a commitment and a plan, the resolutions you make on that day–whether to lose a lot of weight or to make a lot of money-are really just pipe dreams.

Many resolutions made by people on January 1 are forgotten by January 4. The habits that created the condition on January 1–the ones that you say you want changed–will still be alive and kicking on January 2. For some people, however, resolutions they make on January 1 become realities by March 1. The difference is in the commitments to make those dreams come true.

Suppose your resolution is to double your income by year’s end. Only a new seed yields a new crop. To double your income you must at least double your magnetism and your imagination. You must become a bigger person in the process. A similar principle applies to the manifestation of virtually any new year’s resolution.

This workshop introduces the New Year’s Resolution Aerobics, an inner workout that you can practice in 15 minutes per day to make sure that the pilot light of commitment is kept lit all year, and the goals that you set for yourself as the ball dropped over Times Square are alive in your consciousness throughout the year and, more importantly, become your realities before the next ball drops.

May/June

B. “How to be at Peace with your Parents”

Rare is the person who doesn’t have unresolved issues with one or more parents, whether they’re living or not. People often spend thousands of dollars in therapy trying to resolve these conflicts.

Have you ever noticed that people who resemble one or both parents whom you’re incomplete with have an uncanny knack for showing up in your life in different guises? That’s no accident. This workshop will provide the theoretical framework to understand the role these people play in your life.

This highly practical workshop also comes equipped with a systematic, three-step Completion Process that frees you of the toxic energy and heavy weight that you’ve been carrying around for all these years. In this class, you’ll make tremendous progress toward finishing the first two of these three steps that are vital for your physical, emotional, and financial health, and will enable you to become at peace with either or both of your parents, as well as the people who’ve come into your life to help you gain peace with your parents.

November

C. “Thanksgiving, Gratitude & Prosperity”

Thanksgiving is a national holiday that, for all too many Americans, winds up being little more than an all-you-can-eat turkey and stuffing pig-out and an all-you-can-watch football fest. It becomes a day of gluttony where men watch tv and ignore their wives. In truth, however, it’s a day dedicated to giving thanks, a day of gratitude if, consciously celebrated, can lead to a life of gratitude, which in turn leads to a much more prosperous life. This workshop can help you embody the spirit of generosity that prevailed at the first Thanksgiving between the Pilgrims and the Native Americans as you learn techniques that will unfold greater gratitude, generosity and abundance.

December

D. “Embrace your Inner Santa Claus: How to Embody Prosperity”

Many of you have played Santa Claus either at a Christmas party or in your very own home. But how many of you know the secret to embodying this long-standing, cross-cultural archetype of abundance and patron saint of prosperity? This workshop will teach you that. It will also show you how to use ancient and modern techniques that have helped tens of thousands of people magnetize prosperity for themselves, while simultaneously becoming enormous embodiments of generosity, and having a jolly old time doing it, a jolliness worthy of Santa Claus.

9. Business Training for Healers and Workshop Leaders

A. “Healer, Heal Thyself: A Workshop for Counselors, Coaches, Chiropractors, Clergy, LMTs, & Healers ”

The physician has long been told to heal thyself. Why should it be any different for metaphysicians like clergy and healers, counselors, coaches, chiropractors and massage therapists? They serve as instruments for the healing of their clients, patients and congregants, but who helps them in their healing?

Those who care for others need to receive care from others, as well. In this workshop, CEU provider and Breakthrough Coaching for Massage Therapists author Cary Bayer, who’s In this workshop, CEU provider and Breakthrough Coaching for Massage Therapists author Cary Bayer, who’s coached more than 100 therapists and dozens of clergy, healers and counselors, will help them learn how to do that on a daily basis. , will help them learn how to do that on a daily basis. Participants will learn how to rejuvenate their innate enthusiasm, a vital skill for those who can be drained so often after putting in a day of healing. They’ll also learn how to allow prosperity to flow into their own lives. Each participant will also be shown how to more deeply awaken her intuition; how to rewire the Unconscious by transforming the negative training that she learned in childhood; and how to solidify boundaries so that she can support her clients without taking on their problems. Lastly, each student will be taught “Prana-Sperity: The Breath of Abundance” that will give her the experience of expanded aliveness in the very cells of her being.

B. “How to Lead Personal Growth Workshops”

This workshop teaches you how to teach workshops. Specifically, to help people grow and realize their full potential. Workshop leader Cary Bayer draws on more than two decades of experience leading classes to show you how to focus your topic, where to give these classes, how to draft flyers, and how to develop a syllabus.

10. Stress Management

A. “Take a Breath: An Enlightened Way to Manage Stress”

(Available only in south Florida and in the metro New York areas)

This workshop will show you the linguistic link between breath and spirit, and will inspire you in the deepest sense of the word. It will teach you a connected breathing technique that’s a more refined version of respiration than you’re used to, which will result in your feeling truly inspired. The class will also show you how to keep cool on the job, and how to be more flexible in life.

The class culminates in a group session of Prana-Sperity: The Connected Breath of Abundance, a deeply relaxing process that releases a great deal of stress and strain. The abundance of oxygen offers an experience of pleasure at the cellular level, making it easier to attract love and happiness in your relationships, and more prosperity in your finances.

(Those living in close proximity to workshop leader Cary Bayer’s home offices in south Florida and upstate New York are encouraged to practice this technique under his supervision after the workshop is over.)
